Case for ‘believing Demons’ (mockery) – Part 3

Recap- We concluded part 2 by saying

Faith + work = zero (Galatians)

Faith – work = zero (James 2)

So we asked what is the anomaly in the equation? How can this be?

Back to the conversation. There a few people few indeed 6000 in all. They separated themselves from Hellenic society meaning not giving into normal society.

They separated themselves for God. The study the written Word and follow it. The examine the oral tradition and devote their life for the Word of God and cling on to every Word. The try to be pure and be away impurities and follow, try to keep the Word.

Wow, what a great group of people. And those studies the Word and preached it. Wow, what a great group of people.

One day a man came in desert. Calling these group of people, “brood of vipers”.

And one that came after him, called these holy people “white washed tombs”.

How terrible this man in the desert and the one that came after him. How dare these men call the group of people who separated themselves for God as “brood of viper and white washed tombs” how dare these men?

Now tell me who are these men ? Who are the group of people they called this way?

We would honour this group of people.

The man in desert is John the Baptist. And the man who came after him is Jesus. The group of people who separated themselves for God were Pharisees.

John the Baptist and Jesus just blast them. (Pharisees)

Why?

Jesus in Mark 8:15 NIV

15 “Be careful,” Jesus warned them. “Watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and that of Herod.”

Why?
