Writing from 21st September 2019. Continuation of Part 1  (opens in a new tab)

Ezekiel 37:3 KJV

And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

Ezekiel answered just that. Smart guy.

He did not say “yes or no”. He did not even say “I don’t know”. He said GOD “you know”

I answered the same. O my LORD God you know.

Why am I saying Ezekiel is smart?

To understand that let’s go Luke 1. We are going to read about someone who was not smart and God still blessed him.

The guy is Zechariah, John the baptist’s father. We are going to jump into verse 18.

Before that, I will give you the context. It was Zachariah’s turn and he went to the most Holy place and angel Gabriel appeared to him and prophesied about the birth of John the Baptist and how he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born. Awesome prophesy.

And then verse 18 from Amplified Classic

And Zachariah said to the angel, By what shall I know and be sure of this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.

Can you see the difference? Ezekiel kept his mouth shut and said, God, you know. But Zachariah spoke aloud his doubt. How can he be sure, he is old? Who cares if he is old or his situation? When God, says something is He not able to bring it to pass?

Ok sorry, I am getting ahead of myself. Let’s read further

19 And the angel replied to him, I am Gabriel. I stand in the [very] presence of God, and I have been sent to talk to you and to bring you this good news.
20 Now behold, you will be and [a]will continue to be silent and not able to speak till the day when these things take place, because you have not believed what I told you; but my words are [b]of a kind which will be fulfilled in the appointed and proper time.

So Zachariah could not speak till the John was born and till he was to be named.

Some see this has God’s punishment to Zachariah. No it was God’s protection. How?

Zachariah spoke unbelief. Now Proverbs 18:21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

So Zachariah was silenced so that he won’t be able to speak unbelief that led to death.

Ezekiel was smart enough to hold his tongue.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue.

Why the words you speak are so important?

Again jump with me to Mathew 17:29
Mathew 21:21
Mark 11:23

“ye shall say unto this mountain,”

That is a powerful statement. Why Jesus says unto this mountain. How can you speak to a mountain? Yes, you can.

Now let’s jump back to Ezekiel 37. Now the LORD said
Verse 4

Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones,

He asked Ezekiel to prophesy upon these dry bones. Oh, it gets exciting. Ezekiel is going to speak what God spoke. And I prophesied as well on my bank account and the situation.

Oh, this is going to be exciting. Wait for a day. You will see the exciting prophesy that is spoken. I will share it tomorrow.

Remember your words are important. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Speak life. Bless people.

And be blessed, my friends.

In Jesus’s mighty name I come.

Amen
