Part 2 – Illusion of goodness
Imagine I put 3 glasses of water in front of you.
In 1 glass, I add 1 drop of poison.
In the 2nd glass 2 drops of poison.
In 3rd glass 3 drops of poison.
Now, which glass would you choose to drink?
The smart answer is ‘None of the glasses’.
You would reject all 3 glasses.
Why would accept accept any glass with any poison in it?
Definitely no.
That is the illusion of goodness.
Yesterday, we asked and spoke. Many of us told, “we need to be good, do good, loving.”
Are you perfect? Is anyone of you sinless?
No, you are not perfect and you are not good.
You could be better than the person next to you. It is like the glass with one drop of poison saying, drink me, I am better the 2nd and the 3rd.
You are comparing among yourself. That is not wise (2 Corinthians 10:12)
That is relativis,. I mentioned yesterday.
Wages of sin is death.
Who wants to be the best sinner?
When you see God, for who HE is. Your goodness is filthy rags.
How do you, who are filthy can have communion with God?
So the question remains. How do you reach God?
Yes we will get there. Part 3
